Garlic Bread
Basic recipe
Equipment
- 1 baking pan
- 1 large sheet of foil
Ingredients
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced finely
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), or more, room temperature
- 3 tbs olive oil
Salt and pepper
- 1 bread of your choice (baguette, fresh French bread loaf from market, ciabatta, sourdough loaf etc.)
- 3 tbs grated Parmessan
- 1 tbs parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
Garlic Paste
- Mash and mix the garlic, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper until it forms a paste.
Bread
- Cut the bread lengthwise in half, spread the garlic paste over bread, sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.
- Bake on baking sheet lines with foil for about 8-10 minutes, until toasty. Cut into slices and serve warm.
