Garlic Bread

Basic recipe

Equipment

  • 1 baking pan
  • 1 large sheet of foil

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced finely
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), or more, room temperature
  • 3 tbs olive oil

Salt and pepper

  • 1 bread of your choice (baguette, fresh French bread loaf from market, ciabatta, sourdough loaf etc.)
  • 3 tbs grated Parmessan
  • 1 tbs parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees F.

Garlic Paste

  • Mash and mix the garlic, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper until it forms a paste.

Bread

  • Cut the bread lengthwise in half, spread the garlic paste over bread, sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.
  • Bake on baking sheet lines with foil for about 8-10 minutes, until toasty. Cut into slices and serve warm.
