Popovers

Fun breakfast option
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Course Breakfast

Equipment

  • 1 popover pan for six popovers (or 6 oven safe custard cups or ramekins)
  • 1 mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk (2% or whole)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs

Butter for greasing baking pans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven 450 degrees F.
  • Grease the popover pan, custard cups or ramekins.
  • Mix all ingredients until smooth, don't overbeat. Fill cups 1/2 full and bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees F.
  • Reduce oven to 350 degrees F. after 20 minutes and bake for another 20 minutes.
  • Remove and serve immediately with butter or make some flavored butter.
