Popovers
Fun breakfast option
Equipment
- 1 popover pan for six popovers (or 6 oven safe custard cups or ramekins)
- 1 mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk (2% or whole)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
Butter for greasing baking pans
Instructions
- Preheat oven 450 degrees F.
- Grease the popover pan, custard cups or ramekins.
- Mix all ingredients until smooth, don't overbeat. Fill cups 1/2 full and bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees F.
- Reduce oven to 350 degrees F. after 20 minutes and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Remove and serve immediately with butter or make some flavored butter.
