Badam Halwa (Purvi)

Delicious South Indian dessert made with almond flour

Equipment

  • 1 small glass or microwavable bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1.25 cups milk (3/4 cup + 1/2 cup)
  • 3 tbs ghee (melted)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom

Instructions
 

  • In a microwavable bowl, mix the almond flour, milk and melted ghee. Microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Add sugar and cardamom and mix well. Microwave for another 3 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 cup of milk, mix well and microwave for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with sliced almonds and rose petals. Serve warm or at room temperature.
