Badam Halwa (Purvi)
Delicious South Indian dessert made with almond flour
Equipment
- 1 small glass or microwavable bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1.25 cups milk (3/4 cup + 1/2 cup)
- 3 tbs ghee (melted)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
Instructions
- In a microwavable bowl, mix the almond flour, milk and melted ghee. Microwave for 3 minutes.
- Add sugar and cardamom and mix well. Microwave for another 3 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup of milk, mix well and microwave for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sliced almonds and rose petals. Serve warm or at room temperature.
